Magnificence of Australia Australia – is a terrific country with its history and culture! It was discovered during the campaign of the new territories discovering. James Cook was the first to describe this land and declare it to be the property of Her Majesty. 200 years have passed and Australia turned into the continent, which became the most popular among the tourists. The Sydney Opera House – one of the brightest world architecture masterpieces – is situated right there. You can easily order the helicopter excursion in order to see this part of the city and its magnificence! Too bad that Australia is so far away from us. This is really a beautiful part of the Earth, where you can find almost everything and have a really great time. If you decide to visit this unusual land, you should spend more than a week for this striking trip: it takes much time to see all the interesting things in Australia.

Moral of the story Character transformation Punishment Fair or not The first moral of the story is the everything happens with a reason, God is always with you. There is a point of everything, everything has values. T There is failure, postictal or unhappy moment, they can make you grow and to be better. Accept it, don't fight it or blame others. He liminal space is not only a punishment, it also makes you wiser. You will never be alone, God, your parents and your friend are always with you like in the story "footprint". They carry and support you. The second moral of the story is God loves all his creature, all God's creatures are equal. The Albatross or the water snake are equal to human. At the beginning, the Mariner sees himself as the center of attention, he shoots the Albatross and blame the bird that it is the Albatross that bring the fog and mist. As his punishment, he and his crew were been put in the liminal space. After all the crew died, the Mariner tries to try to end the punishment, but he cannot. God says that he is nor the ready. When he saw the water snakes, he finally realizes that all God's creature are equal, the Albatross around his neck fells into the sea. After been release to reality, he has the glittering eye and became the messenger of god. He has to tell his story to others to release his pain and guilt, so that others will not make the same mistake. The Mariner suffer grave consequences because he killed God's messenger in order to draw the crew's attention back to him. He was jealous that the crew put all of their attention on the Albatross. He shot the Albatross in front of all the crew to showcase his power. He tries to blame the bird to escape from responsibility. He demonstrates great hubris here; humans want to control everything that is unpredictable. The Mariner and his crew are been put in to the liminal space, they will never witness the fading sun, or sunset. They will be relentlessly thirsty from the poisonous heat of the sun. It is torturous irony that they are surrounded by water, yet they cannot drink the salty water. God punishes the Mariner and his crew by allowing them to suffer the pain to demonstrate the consequences of disrespecting the natural world, including his creations. The Mariner's punishment for killing the Albatross is extremely fair because he has taken the life of one of God's beautiful creations because of his hubris, he wants to win back the crew's attention and want to showcase his power. He has to suffer in the liminal space. After the crew died, he is all alone and has no one to blame. After He come back to reality, he is condemned to perpetually relive his mistake and educate individuals, tell his "rhyme," about the consequences of not appreciating the natural world, thus remaining in a continual state of liminality.

For instance the people who attend and live near St. Ann’s church are said to be the poorest in America, the pastor to this church was interviewed by Kozol and he mentioned that he had visited different parts of America and according to him this was the â€Å"poorest of the poorest by any standard he can think of† (Schultz, p 372). Statistical reports released showed that 95% of the residents of this area live below the poverty line. At a local elementary school at St. Ann’s Avenue, only less than ten children out of eight hundred children can comfortably afford their own lunch daily i.e. they are not dependent of the free lunches that are offered at the school. Five of the ten believe that they are just poor but not destitute and by this, the in most cases do not rely/ accept the free lunch offered (Schultz, p 372). As we know if poverty levels are extremely high then crime is most likely to be as high in the same areas and this reduces security in the areas. Kozol says that a total of 84 people were murdered just a few months before he visited the area. Most of them were below 21 years of age. During his stay in the area another ten people were shot dead on Beckman Avenue and in this Avenue majority of the population are schoolchildren and this means that they were most likely exposed to this incidences. The following year which was 1993 on Valentine’s Day a whole family of six were shot in cold blood in their house and no one survived. Their house was only few blocks from them police but nothing was done to prevent the inhumane action from happeni ng (Schultz, p 373). The high crime rates as we have seen are promoted by the high poverty levels, but this is not the only outcome of the poverty. There is also a lot of drug use and poor health care. Talking of the drugs they also contribute to crime as we know and Mont Haven is the most affected area. Some analysis that Kozol quoted on his writing indicated that during the time of his research, there were over four thousands intravenous drug users most of which were addicts of heroin and cocaine. Intravenous drug users tend to promote the spread of HIV/ AIDS, a pandemic that has claimed a lot of lives all over the world. This is after sharing needles for injecting the drugs. Kozol says that after he interviewed several children from the areas I mentioned above, he concluded that at least every child in these areas knows of someone who died from AIDS, this may either be a neighbor or a relative. The most saddening news is that over 25 percent of all pregnant women that attend pren atal clinic are tested positive of the HIV. From 1993 to the year 2000 over thirty eight thousand children were infected with HIV mostly through mother to child transition during or after birth. Most of these children only lived for one and a half years. Only 5% of them survived to 12 years and over 10,000 children were orphaned during this period. 20% of the 10,000 were residents of Mott Haven and they were mainly Hispanic or Black American. Kozol tells a saddening story of which was narrated to him as quoted below, â€Å"In one family, the father died two years ago and the mother is about to die. The four soon-to-be-orphaned children are being cared for by their 75-year-old grandmother. One of the children, a nine-year-old, is sick with full-blown AIDS. But it’s the 13-year-old girl, who isn’t sick, who’s causing the most worries. She’s staying out all night, defying her grandmother. She stared to do this at 11, when her father died. Recently, this girl had an abortion† (Schultz, p 377). Asthma, fear and anxiety are some of the most common diseases and problems respectively that children from this areas face in their lives. Winter season is considered the worst weather since they are never well protected from the dangerous cold weather. Rarely the government is forced to distribute free electric blankets and sometimes space heaters to protect them from the cold. This leads to over loading on the electricity supply in these areas and they are forced to turn to sleeping bags as an alternative (Schultz, p 372). The American Revolution divided the American people in three ways. There were those who wanted a new political order and wanted to be free from the British, there were those who were loyal to Britain and those who had not decided who to side with or did not care which way the conflict went. The revolutionaries called those loyal to Britain Tories, royalists or the Kings men. The British did not make enough use of what could have been up to a third of the American population who supported them. A large number of these loyalists could be found close to the East Coast and they were from different backgrounds including shopkeepers, farmers and professional people.
